This is a nonprofit community association set up in the premature 1970’s on land donated by Willoughby City Council to bear accommodation and care for retired and aged people, with a priority for those from Willoughby and neighboring areas. The Village facilities include a segregate lounge library computer room, a Community Function Craft Room, outdoor barbecue, a communal laundry on each floor of the Self Care tower, and a dining room for Hostel Outreach Residents. RCA’s campus has 85 apartments of which 40 are government funded and operated as residential protection places lower the Aged Concern Act (including respite concern up to nine weeks per year) and Outreach assistance. The units are different styles and sizes ranging from studio to three bedrooms, relevant for autonomous living and aging in deposit with the assisted concern from our onside nursing staff. Outreach is a service provided by our hostel to residents living in self contained units who require help with everyday activities. RCA is glad to present flexibility in accommodation and levels of assistance for individual residents, including couples in two bedroom units with different health protection needs. Every person should have a authentic opportunity to make the senior years of life, happy, snug and meaningful. Fostering a glad lifestyle, loving attitudes and a sound environment is fundamental to all we do.

Only amounts that are permitted by the Aged Care Act or as agreed with you in writing are deducted from the lump sum and on leaving our care, the balance is refunded to you. Larger units are also available for Outreach residents with accommodation payments ranging from 400,00, 550,00 and for couples 1.1 million, including joint refundable deposits entry contributions for two people sharing a two bedroom apartment or with diverse health protection needs. Fostering a happy lifestyle, loving attitudes and a safe environment is fundamental to all we do. RCA offers a variety of affordable accommodation to seniors in the Willoughby community who require either self-reliant living or assisted protection with daily living. All units are self contained premises and have level access. Entry contributions for studios and one bedroom units are priced at the surplus allowable pension limit to allow government rent assistance to pensioners. Our Village Brochure provides key information for you: Self Care units have a kitchen lounge area, and we currently offer: Recurrent fees are old towards operating expenses of the Village including maintenance, cleaning of common areas, buildings, gardens, water rates, communal laundries, security lighting and our Hostel emergency assistance call buttons for each unit. This ensures the privacy of our existing Residents. The Association operates through a Board of Management. The Village operates a waiting list but no listing fee is charged to prospective Residents. The Chairman is a customary visitor to the Village and issues or concerns are addressed promptly. The Board has the discretion to allocate a number of units to concessional residents or may concur to vary the subsequent entry contributions in specific circumstances. Entry contributions are priced under the extra allowable pension limit to permit the grant of rent assistance to pensioners and veterans during residency. The whole of the contribution is nonrefundable after two years’ residency. (If you leave the village earlier two years’ residency, this amount is refunded pro data to you together with the balance entry contribution as a lump sum). After two years’ residency, half of the balance entry contribution is refunded to you by way of 10 equal annual installments. Non refundable Amount after 2 year stay: The Dining Room is located on the beginning floor, with large sitting rooms on each floor close by 2 elevators. The Hostel is fitted with a fire sprinkler system. The Hostel has the maximum 3 year accreditation. Should a Self Concern Resident be accepted for transfer to the Hostel or the Outreach program, the balance of entry contribution may be transferred towards the hostel or outreach accommodation payment.
